For the opening event of BodySign, an assortment of jewellery created by industrial designers, a presentation of unusual scale for this genre was staged.
Selected pieces were build threedimensionally in the computer and displayed on the Credit Suisse´s curved LED Wall from a very close point of view, so that they appeared in virtually ‘experimental’ size. By devoted elaboration of materiality, surface structure and setting of light the jewellery was brought to a state of hyperreal perfection. Since the designs were very conceptual each piece was characterized by noble simplicity and a clear formal idea. This was used as origin for the animation of the single pieces: the virtual jewellery floated across the large-scale display and interpreted it´s own shape by it´s movements.
