	ovalprocess is a standalone software application, meant to serve as a direct manipulative real-time audio authoring environment. It provides public access to the "creative" potential as well as deliberate limitations of Oval-style desktop audio, although most of the usual sampling, mixing and structuring capabilities are included. ovalprocess can be seen as a "serious" full-scale effort to monitor the overdue "immersive turn" in our recent work, since neither red-book-audio CDs nor artifacts in the field of electronic visuals any longer had proven to be capable of capturing the procedural nature, let alone the conceptual essence of our endeavours. the system is being developed in cooperation with Richard Ross (London)
